The function of patrol division is the deployment of forces consistent with the needs of the
Town in order to maintain the protection of life and property, public order, enforce all applicable laws, provide preventive
patrol, respond to calls for service, conduct investigations of crimes and incidents to include the arrest of offenders and
recover property.
The patrol division is administered by Sergeants who are directly
responsible to the Captain.
Sergeant Travis Foster joined the Skiatook Police Department in 2001 and is
currently assigned to the 2200-0600 Shift. Sgt. Foster is a certified C.L.E.E.T. Firearms Instructor for pistol, shotgun
and rifle and is also a certified Glock Armorer. Before coming to Skiatook he worked for the Collinsville Police Department
and with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. Prior to his law enforcement career he served in the United States Air
Force.

Sergeant Chris Tinsley started his law enforcement career in
1993 with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office. From there he went to the Oklahoma Military Department Police and while
serving there joined the Collinsville Police Department. Sgt. Tinsley came to work for Skiatook in 2003 and is currently
assigned to the 1400-2200 Shift.

Sergeant Billy Wakefield began his law enforcement career in 1992 with the Tulsa
County Sheriff’s Office working as a detention officer, court guard and patrol deputy. He joined
the Skiatook Police Department in 1996 and is currently assigned to the 0600-1400 Shift. Prior to his law
enforcement career, Sgt. Wakefield received an honorable discharge from the United States Marine Corps after serving 4 years
as a field radio operator.
