The Detective Division is responsible for follow up investigations on felony and serious offenses reported to the Police Department.  The Detective Division is committed to excellence and professionalism during criminal investigations through innovation and efficient use of available resources.

Sergeant Shane Thompson began his law enforcement career in 1997, with the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office.  From there he went to the Collinsville Police Department and then to the Oklahoma Military Department Police.  Sgt. Thompson joined the Skiatook Police Department in 2004.  Before being assigned as an Detective, he served as a Patrol Officer and K-9 Officer.  Sgt. Thompson is a certified C.L.E.E.T. Instructor and a graduate of Oklahoma's Criminal Investigation Academy.

Detective Jerry Bullard began his law enforcement career in 2005 as a Reserve Officer for Skiatook.  He became a full time officer in 2007, graduating from C.L.E.E.T. with the top academic honors of his class.  He served as a Patrol Officer before being assigned to the Detective Division in 2009.  Det. Bullard is a graduate of Oklahoma's Criminal Investigation Academy.
