Skiatook Police K-9

It is the mission of the Skiatook Police Canine Unit to provide the specialized services of a highly trained canine to support field units in the performance of their duties.

Skiatook's K-9 Officer is Tony Harper. Officer Harper joined the Department in 2007. Before coming to Skiatook he served at Collinsville and Sperry Police Departments. His partner, "Rip" a Dutch Shepard, came to the Department in 2008. They both have been through an intensive training program where they learned to work together to locate narcotics, search for lost children, conduct building searches, locate evidence, track and apprehend suspects. Officer Harper is a certified K-9 Handler and Rip is CLEET certified for Narcotics.
