Skiatook is governed by the Board of Trustee's composed of the Mayor and four Trustees. Each of the elected trustees represents their Ward of residence. The Board is responsible for setting policies to help govern the city. The Board hires a town administrator who is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the town as well as public relations and any additional duties set forth by the Board of Trustees.
