The Ward boundaries for Skiatook's Town Trustees have changed. After every 10 year, Federal Census, Ward boundaries must be examined to see if any major population shifts have occurred. After the recent 2010 census, it was determined that the boundaries for the Town Trustee Wards needed to be adjusted.

The goal was to try and maintain, as much as possible, an equal number of residents in each elected official's Ward. The boundary changes are made with the hope that as few people as possible are moved to new Wards. This does not change the current eligibility of an existing Board member as far as remaining in their current elected position. It may, however, affect which Ward the person will run in for future elections.

The following links show the old and new Wards. The Board of Trustees voted to make this change at their regular meeting on February 14, 2012.
