A joint project between the Osage Nation and the Town of Skiatook is complete. This cooperative project has been worked on for several years. The Osage Nation provided funding for the construction of the improvements, approximately $1.7 million and the Town was responsible for the engineering and inspection costs, roughly $250,000.
This type of cooperation is the best example of how multiple agencies, working together, can accomplish great things. This road improvement project will have a significant impact on the community for many years to come.
